Traveling in Southeast Asia

So, traveling in Southeast Asia, huh? Then you have an amazing trip ahead of you. From the greenest jungles to the most tropical beaches and the biggest cities… Southeast Asia has everything! I cannot wait to tell you all about my experiences. Oh and if you want to see even more of my travels, make sure to follow me on Instagram.

Thailand

If you think about backpacking, you think about Thailand. It’s probably the most popular destination for any traveler with a backpack and a limited budget. And for a good reason! The food is amazing and there is so much to see, like the millions of temples. Believe me, you’ll be so tired of seeing those temples all the time. But no worries, there are enough other things to do in Thailand that you won’t wanna skip. Like visiting Khao Sok National Park, chilling on the beautiful island of Koh Tao and wandering through the busy streets of Bangkok. And I’m here to tell you all about it!

Vietnam

My favourite country in Southeast Asia is BY FAR Vietnam. I could write a whole blogpost about what I love about it. But don’t worry, I’ll keep it short here 🙂 Why I love it? Vietnam is super authentic, but easy to travel. It’s not as focused on tourism as Thailand, but it’s definitely more used to travellers than its neighbour Laos. There is so much to – SO much – that the visa of 30 days will barely be enough. I even did a visa run so I could stay longer. Enjoy the best coffee spots in Hanoi, do the Ha Giang Loop in the North of Vietnam, get tailor-made clothing in Hoi An or spot starfish on the beaches of Phu Quoc. Oh and the hostels? Absolutely amazing!
